Our secondary office:

What every patient can expect from us:
• Your first appointment with a mental health practitioner will include a detailed discussion of your current circumstances and symptoms, as well as details of your psychiatric, medical, personal, and professional history.
• Together, we will arrive at a diagnosis and develop a plan to realize your treatment goals.
• Sometimes, more than one appointment is required to confirm a diagnosis and treatment plan, and treatment interventions and goals may also evolve as you respond to and engage with treatment.
• You are an active participant in your treatment and can expect the level of focus and dedication you have towards your health and well-being to play a determinant factor in your progress.
• Each person arrives in our care with a unique personal health history and specific challenges, and thus the number of follow-up appointments necessary to achieve your individual treatment goals may vary.
• Practitioners who are on vacation will arrange for a trusted colleague to be available on their behalf if needed.
• Calls and messages will be returned within 2 business days, but usually within one business day.
What we expect from every patient:
• Respect for the privacy and confidentiality of all patients
• Active participation in therapy and treatments
• Cooperation with the care team, such as keeping up with scheduling medication management and therapy appointments
• Open communication with the care team to discuss any concerns or questions
• Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours of notice or the regular fee will apply. Monday appointment cancellations require notification to your provider on the Friday before to avoid a charge for the appointment.
• Cancellation notices can be provided through the patient portal (Luminello), by email, text, or a phone call to your practitioner’s phone line.
• If you are going to be late, please text, call, or email your practitioner. If you are more than 15 minutes late, they may leave, and the regular fee will be apply.
• Phone calls up to 20 minutes in length are not charged. A fee may apply to phone consultations beyond 20 minutes, which will be pro-rated and charged at the practitioner’s regular rate.
